The Situation

The Community Action Foundation of Citrus County (CAFCC) is constantly growing and changing with the community - building and developing relationships with parents and families, developing new programs for youth, adults and community, responding to challenges and needs, and improving community by educating, training and providing tools to help families make life changes for themselves. It takes financial resources to provide these programs, services, events and activities.  Each year, CAFCC relies on the generosity of our supporters and partnerships to provide funds, services and volunteers for our strategic priorities and areas of need.

The Impact

Annual giving is a crucial resource for CAFCC.  Meeting the goal for annual giving will mean that the Community Action Foundation of Citrus County will be able to do the following:

• Fund two (2)  full time paid staff positions to continue to deliver the quality services and programs offered to our community
• Secure leased programming space from the city of Crystal River
• Secure a 15 passenger van for transportation to programs and events
• Continue support for community building activities including the Back to School Party, and the Affair to Remember
• Continue support of youth programming initiatives, including curriculum/program development and activities
• Provide programs for families as they develop the skills and tools for life change – education, communication skills, job skills, and money management skills.
