Girl Scouts of the USA
In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of
enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service
projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl
Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding,
skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound
decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills,
and cooperation with others.

CAFCC currently offers three Girl Scout Troops:  Daisies, Brownies and Juniors.

Young Men of Distinction
The Young Men of Distinction program takes a holistic approach to addressing the concerns faced by
males.  Special attention is given to the mind, body, and soul.  This ensures that  males have a positive
self-image and a sense of  pride.  The group engages in activities that address the issues of male
responsibility, family relations, nutrition, education, and careers.

"Spirit of Excellence" Summer Camp
A two week summer camp will be held from June 18 -29, 2007  to further educational, social and cultural
enrichment.   Activities will  include: Art and Crafts, Basketball,  Volleyball,  Dance and Step Lesson,
Drama, and Personal Development courses.

Etiquette Training
Formal etiquette training courses are offered periodically by partnering with a certified etiquette and
protocol consultant from Tampa, FL.   Some of the topics offered are: Meeting and Introductions,
Handshaking, Conversation and Listening Skills, Telephone Etiquette, Etiquette of Public Places, ABCs
of Table Manners, Dining Etiquette, Thank You Notes, Money Management, and Introduction to Ballroom
Dancing.

Etiquette training is provided and reinforced at every CAFCC meeting/event.  It is a requirement that all
our youth work towards understanding and utilizing proper etiquette.  This informal training is a
significant part and underlying foundation of all CAFCC activities.
